I absolutely loved reading through this. Albeit, the opening made me feel some of her pain and sadness - it actually helped me truly understand where she came from and how Catherine had progressed from loss and hopelessness to happy. She takes you through her stages of sadness to her new mindset of optimism. Reading this story helped me gain some new perspective from someone who had a tragedy far worse than anything I have ever suffered and helped gain a new view altogether. In her mindset chapter, she states many great and inspiring quotes, but one in particular was a message to me as a reader explaining that no matter how bad grief hurts, the intense pain is actually not a bad thing. “Say to yourself out loud, The pain I feel today is a sign of how much I loved my loved one.” All in all, for a quick read I strongly recommend that anyone should read through this book and especially to those grieving, this will help you realize a new view on your own grief and help realize that you will get through this and be ok. If she can go through a great loss and come out happy and a better mother, I can get beyond my grief too.Product details
